Feminine Friday 07/30/10
It’s time once again for Feminine Friday over at Buildeth Her House. This is what I wore today.
This is another one of my garage sale outfits…well, most of my outfits are garage sale finds because that’s where I do most of my shopping 
The top, I got for $2, it’s originally from Walmart. The skirt is a really nice linen one that I got for $2, but it’s Old Navy brand. I have to wear an undershirt with this top because it’s a little loose in the front so for modesty sake, I wear an undershirt so I don’t show everything when I bend over. To the outfit, I added a simple brown leather belt and my white leather walking shoes (since it’s errand day). I just love the color combo of this outfit and I think it looks really nice!

I like the belt! I don’t own one but have been thinking of trying to pick one up at the thrift store. I think it would slim my waist to cinch my fuller tops in with a belt. It sure looks nice on you (I think you and I look to have very similar measurements). So if it looks good on you, I think it will look good on me. Ha! Anyway, you’re right, the color combo is very becoming. You’re looking good, Susan! I like to look good when I do my errands too. I can’t tell you how many comments I’ve gotten over the years about how nice it is to see a mom out and about in a dress. I hear this at least monthly, and that’s saying a lot because I’m really not away from home all that much.

I love the top. You find some really nice stuff at garage sales. And I understand about the undershirt, unfortunately not everyone is worried about their looks when they bend over. Just a sign of the times!
