My Bible Study Online Journal

I’ve decided to begin keeping all my Bible study notes on an online journal.  I want these to be all in one place, yet not necessarily part of this blog.  I think the accountability would be good and also it’s an easy way to keep them all together.  This site will by no means always be updated daily, but I like the thought of having them all in one place.  If you’d like to visit it and/or subscribe you can do it at:

Spicy Whole Wheat Sugar Cookies

This is another one of those recipes I created using what was on hand.  These turned out really flavorful and crunchy.  I was hoping for a softer cookie, but these turned out really well anyway.  The fellas ate them all up quickly, so they must have been okay :)

Spicy Whole Wheat Sugar Cookies

1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
|1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 egg
2 cups whole wheat flour
cinnamon sugar

Preheat oven to 375°.  In a large bowl, stir together all the ingredients, except for the cinnamon sugar.  Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.  Flatten each cookie with a fork.l  Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.  Bake for 8-10 minutes until light golden brown.
