I think the accountability would be good and also it’s an easy way to keep them all together. This is another one of those recipes I created using what was on hand. These turned out really flavorful and crunchy. I was hoping for a softer cookie, but these turned out really well anyway. The fellas ate them all up quickly, so they must have been okay
Spicy Whole Wheat Sugar Cookies
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
|1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 egg
2 cups whole wheat flour
cinnamon sugar
Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, stir together all the ingredients, except for the cinnamon sugar. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Flatten each cookie with a fork.l Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes until light golden brown.
