My fellas say they love me even more than ever for this recipe 
! This turned out SO yummy and it was so easy to prepare. The *only* thing that I had a problem with, was that it was a bit too runny. But since we served it over ice cream, it worked out okay. The berry, oatmeal, sugar and seasonings worked so well with the vanilla ice cream. I served it as a topping to the ice cream and it was a BIG hit.
Topping:
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
oatmeal
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Oriental Five Spices (a mixture of cinnamon, anise, ginger, nutmeg & cloves)
Filling:
1 pound frozen mixed berries (can use fresh)
1/2 cup sugar
Cinnamon
Oriental Five Spices
Vanilla ice cream
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. Oriental five spices. Stir well. Add enough oatmeal to make a crumbly topping. In a pie plate, mix together the berries and the second 1/2 cup sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon and Oriental five spices, stir to mix. Top with the topping. Cook in a 350° oven for about 15 minutes. Serve warm…topped with ice cream!
This appears to be a book of simple building projects geared towards boys (children). Includes some general information, as well as instructions for building a carpenter’s bench and tool chest. Plus a lot more simple projects for the beginning carpenter. This is one book my boys will REALLY enjoy!

This is an adorable preschool aged puzzle that helps teach colors. Very cute and easy to print and assemble. You print them out on cardstock and laminate them. Then cut them out. You can even attach magnets to the back so they can be used in the kitchen on the refrigerator and things like that. These would make great “busy” work for you toddler while you instruct your older children! Very nice printable!

Oh my goodness! These are SOOO good. My family loves green beans, but they much prefer fresh green beans over canned. But I found a sale on canned green beans and so I stocked up a little, because canned veggies are great for quick soups and things like that. Any way I needed to use some of them up and this recipe sounded good. Not only was it good, but it was delicious…puts me in mind of the YUMMY ones served at “The Cracker Barrel”!
1/4 cup bacon pieces
3 cans green beans
1/4 of an onion, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 stick butter
In a large pan add all the ingredients, except onion and mix well. Place the onion on top of the green beans and cover. Bring to a light boil. Turn heat down to low and simmer for 45 minutes. Stir well and serve.
This is a cute set of illustrated Godly Character Trait “posters”. These would be so cute laminated and mounted in the school room or made into a book of some kind for the children to read. Very nice! Great for using when studying Godly Character.
