Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, I actually have internet for a few days and have been trying to catch up with everyone. We’re visiting my parents this week for the holiday. We all had a wonderful time and my boys had fun playing with their cousins. Of course, we ate LOTS of turkey and my Mom’s wonderful chocolate pie! Friday, we went to Homestead Heritage with my Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister-in-law,niece and nephew. I think everyone had a good time, but BOY was it COLD!! I bought a book on soft and hard cheese making, 2 bars of soap, some habenero jelly (YUMMY!), and a CD of Bible verses set to music for the kids. Tomorrow we will be heading home and will stop at Homestead Heritage to pick up some chicks that Marty bought. Our place is REALLY starting to look like a farm once again. We’ll have chicks and about a month ago, we bought 2 pigs. We’re really hoping to get some sheep or goats soon and I REALLY want to get a couple of milk goats.
Homeschool is still going great and I’m keeping busy while offline. I can’t wait to get back online so I cn start blogging again, but I won’t be online quite as much as before.
We’ll, it’s after 11 pm and I need to get to bed. I’ve got to get up early in the morning to pack for the trip home. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Oh, yes, PLEASE keep my friend Nikki’s mother-in-law in your prayers, they just discovered that she has cancer. Also, if you don’t mind, please keep me in your prayers, I don’t really want to talk about it at this time, but I have some things twisting around in my head and could really use some prayer for guidance and understanding. I would greatly appreciate it!
